I wish The New York Times article had better covered one more “side effect” of this mold scare – the litigation frenzy that’s sure to be coming down the road. While scientists and health experts are still working to establish the facts on this issue, opportunistic personal injury lawyers are moving full speed ahead hoping to cash in on the mold hysteria,

Thanks to them, we’re all going to start suffering from a whole new range of mold “symptoms” such as higher homeowners premiums, higher housing costs, and loss of homeowners coverage all together.

If we are going to be concerned about mold let’s consider all aspects.
