HB 1327 expands the offense of illegal solicitation or "ambulance chasing" to include, not just attorneys, but any professional that solicits professional employment. "Professional" as newly defined by this bill is an attorney, chiropractor, physician, surgeon, private investigator, or any other person licensed, certified, or registered by a state agency that regulates a health care profession.
